We are seeking an associate with around 3+ years PQE to join a busy Employment team in Leeds. The role combines contentious and non‑contentious employment work, advising a wide range of UK and international commercial clients across sectors such as financial services, retail, energy and transport.

The position operates on a hybrid working pattern (minimum office attendance each week) with occasional travel between UK offices for team collaboration. You will handle tribunals and advisory work, build client relationships and contribute to major HR projects including restructurings and business‑critical employment matters.

The team is collegiate and offers formal training, mentoring and development opportunities. The role suits someone client‑focused, commercially minded and eager to develop technically and take on increasing responsibility.

  • Qualified solicitor with approximately 3+ years post‑qualification experience in employment law.
  • Experience of both contentious (tribunal) and non‑contentious employment work.
  • Strong drafting, advocacy and client‑management skills; attention to detail and commercial awareness.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid model and collaborating across teams and offices.
