The group advises banks, fintechs and other financial institutions on regulatory, transactional and enforcement matters, including chartering, licensing, investigations and legislative matters.
Successful candidates will join a team handling a mix of regulatory counseling, administrative proceedings and transactional support for institutional clients. The team values strong legal research, drafting and analytical abilities, the capacity to work independently and creativity in problem‑solving, alongside effective collaboration skills.
Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure to practice in Washington, D.C.
- Mid‑level associate (typical PQE range: 2020–2023 or equivalent experience)
- Experience or sustained interest in bank regulatory matters, anti‑money‑laundering, consumer protection, fintech, chartering/licensing or cryptocurrency
- Strong research, writing and analytical skills; able to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience interacting with or representing clients before regulators (e.g., Federal Reserve, FDIC, OCC, FinCEN or state banking agencies) preferred
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Washington, D.C.
