Apply in confidence →Top-tier U.S. IP litigation team is seeking associates with 2–4 years' experience to join its patent and trade-secret practice in any of its U.S. offices. The role involves handling contested matters across federal courts, the ITC, and PTO proceedings.
Successful candidates will contribute to research, drafting, motion practice, discovery, and courtroom advocacy while working closely with experienced litigators. The group emphasizes mentorship, formal training, and a collaborative culture.
Admission to the bar of the state where the associate will be based is required. A technical bachelor’s or advanced degree (electrical/computer/mechanical engineering, computer science, physics, chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in intellectual property litigation (patent and/or trade-secret matters)
- Bachelor’s or higher technical degree preferred (EE, CS, ME, Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or similar)
- Excellent research, drafting, and oral advocacy skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Membership in the State Bar of the office where the candidate will be located is required
