Intellectual Property Disputes Associate

Multi-office U.S. opening for a junior to midlevel associate to join a national intellectual property disputes practice. The team handles patent litigation and other technology-related IP disputes across federal courts and the PTAB.

Successful candidates will work on all phases of litigation—discovery, motion practice, claim construction, and trial preparation—collaborating with experienced litigators and technical staff on complex matters involving electrical, computer, and software technologies.

The firm is accepting candidates across several U.S. offices; hiring will consider location-specific bar admission and local practice requirements.

• 1–5 years of litigation experience at a large law firm (patent litigation experience preferred)
• Background in electrical/computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent technical experience
• Active bar admission in the state of the office to which you apply (or ability to obtain admission)
• Strong briefing, motion practice, and courtroom support skills; comfort with technical subject matter
