An international law firm is seeking an interim structured products lawyer to join its Hong Kong team on a fixed-term consultancy. The role sits within the firm's flexible interim resourcing programme and offers strong internal support from a sponsoring partner and a dedicated client team while you work on external assignments.

The role involves advising on structured finance transactions (including repackaging and secured lending), drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex banking documentation, supporting cross-border executions and liaising with other regional legal teams. You will also monitor regulatory developments relevant to structured finance and contribute to risk assessment and mitigation for transactions.

This is a hands-on role for a commercially minded lawyer comfortable working independently on tight deadlines and integrating with internal stakeholders and external counsel on live deals.

Qualified lawyer in a common law jurisdiction.
5–8 years' post‑qualification experience in structured finance, with exposure to repackaging and secured lending.
Strong drafting and negotiation skills; familiarity with banking and finance documentation.
Derivatives experience advantageous; experience on cross‑border transactions and working with regional teams preferred.
