Apply in confidence →Private-firm Labor & Employment team seeks a mid-senior level litigation associate (approx. 5 years' experience) to join its Pittsburgh office. The role focuses on high-stakes employment disputes and sensitive workforce matters for corporate and private equity clients.
Work will include litigating restrictive covenant and trade secret cases (including injunctive relief), advising on executive mobility and onboarding/offboarding issues, counseling on employment compliance and sensitive personnel matters, and supporting employment diligence and post-transaction integration in M&A and private equity matters.
The position requires attorneys who can be brought into matters early, take meaningful responsibility, work under pressure, and maintain discretion on confidential, mission-critical matters.
- Approximately 5 years of employment/labor litigation experience
- Proven experience with restrictive covenant and trade-secret litigation and injunctive-relief practice
- Advising on executive mobility, onboarding/departure issues, and employment aspects of transactions
- Strong litigation skills (briefing, motion practice, discovery) and ability to handle sensitive investigations
- Excellent judgment, communication, and ability to work collaboratively with senior lawyers and clients
