Apply in confidence →Seeking a junior associate (1–3 years) to join a growing Labor Transactions practice in New York. The role offers hands‑on experience on complex, high‑profile transactional matters and the chance to work with experienced deal teams across the firm’s transactional platform.
The practice advises on labor and employment issues arising in M&A, private equity, credit and restructuring transactions. Work will include diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction‑related provisions, and counseling on workforce integration, collective bargaining, WARN Act and executive compensation issues.
This is an in‑office position that provides regular client interaction and close collaboration with corporate, private equity, restructuring and employee benefits teams to deliver integrated solutions in transactional contexts.
- Admitted and in good standing to the bar of the state where you will practice.
- 1–3 years’ substantive experience advising on labor and employment issues in transactional settings (M&A, private equity, credit or restructuring).
- Experience conducting labor & employment diligence and drafting/negotiating transaction‑related provisions.
- Familiarity with collective bargaining agreements, labor relations, WARN Act considerations and employment‑related regulatory compliance preferred.
- Proven ability to work on deal teams with direct client and advisor interaction; available to work in person in New York.
