Apply in confidence →Our client, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Legal Technology & AI Attorney to support its litigation practice. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing technology-enabled workflows, with a strong emphasis on artificial intelligence tools. Working closely with litigators, IT, and knowledge management teams, the attorney will help translate litigation needs into scalable technology solutions that enhance efficiency and client service.
Responsibilities include:
- Partner with litigation practice groups to identify opportunities for AI and legal technology to improve workflows.
- Design and implement technology-enabled processes for legal research, motion practice, deposition preparation, case strategy, and trial preparation.
- Evaluate, pilot, and configure emerging legal technology and AI solutions, including generative AI tools.
- Develop, test, and refine prompts for generative AI systems to support research, summarization, drafting, and issue analysis.
- Collaborate with IT, Information Security, and Knowledge Management to ensure tools integrate effectively and comply with firm policies.
- Assist in developing governance frameworks and best practices for responsible AI use in litigation.
- Provide training and guidance to attorneys and professional staff on legal technology and AI tools.
- Develop internal documentation, playbooks, and best practices for AI-assisted litigation processes.
- Monitor developments in litigation technology and generative AI, and support cross-practice innovation initiatives.
- Participate in vendor evaluations, product demos, and pilot programs for new litigation technology platforms.
Qualifications include:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 3–5 years of litigation experience at a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Demonstrated interest in legal technology, innovation, or AI applications in litigation.
- Familiarity with generative AI tools, prompt engineering, and legal research platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience managing projects or technology implementations in a legal environment is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail.
- Interest in emerging developments in AI, legal technology, and data-driven litigation strategy.
This role is available in multiple U.S. offices and offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of law and technology in a dynamic, high-stakes environment.

- Preferred: experience managing projects or technology implementations in a legal environment.
- Ability to handle multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Preferred: experience developing training programs or adoption strategies for new technologies.
- Basic familiarity with technology integrations, APIs, or workflow automation tools in legal settings.
- Interest in emerging AI, legal technology, and data-driven litigation strategy.
