Litigation Associate — Commercial Litigation, New York

Busy New York litigation team is seeking a mid-level associate with 5–7 years of commercial litigation experience. The role involves handling all aspects of general commercial litigation in New York state and federal courts, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and depositions.

Ideal candidates will have strong research and writing skills, experience taking and defending depositions (including expert depositions), and the ability to draft and argue substantive motions. Trial experience is a plus; experience on real estate and finance matters is preferred.

• Juris Doctor (JD) required; admitted to practice in New York.
• 5–7 years of commercial litigation experience in New York state and federal courts.
• Proven drafting and oral advocacy skills: pleadings, discovery, motions.
• Experience taking and defending depositions; expert deposition experience preferred.
• Strong legal research and writing; strong academic record.
• Large law firm litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; employer will not sponsor.
