Litigation Attorney – Product Liability & Class Actions (Professional Track)

Position Summary

Our client, a globally recognized law firm, is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join its Proposition 65 practice within a nationally recognized Product Liability, Mass Torts & Class Actions group. This is a non-partnership-track position open to any U.S. office, with the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement (remote and in-office).

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complex commercial litigation, consumer class action defense, and consumer product regulatory counseling.
• Represent clients in matters involving Proposition 65 and related state-specific regulatory compliance.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external audiences, producing high-quality work in a timely and professional manner.
• Manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain client confidences.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Admission to the California bar, plus bar admission in the jurisdiction where the candidate resides (if not California).
• At least 3 years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm or equivalent practice.
• Experience with Proposition 65, consumer class action defense, consumer product regulatory counseling, or complex commercial litigation is a plus.
• California state court experience and/or a previous federal clerkship are a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $150,000–$250,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
