Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a mid-level to senior associate to join its US Banking and Finance practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in securitization, warehouse financing, and other structured finance transactions. Experience with residential mortgage loans or other consumer assets is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities will include:

Structuring and negotiating mortgage-backed securities, securitizations, and warehouse facilities
Advising on regulatory and compliance matters related to mortgage finance and consumer assets
Collaborating with cross-practice teams on complex structured finance transactions
Managing all aspects of transactions from inception to closing

Qualified candidates should have excellent academic credentials and a strong record of successful transactions in a sophisticated law firm environment.

3+ years of experience in banking and finance, with a focus on securitization, warehouse financing, and structured finance
Strong preference for experience with residential mortgage loans or other consumer assets
Bar admission in the jurisdiction of the relevant office (or eligibility to obtain promptly)
