Energy & Project Finance Associate

Am Law 200 firm seeks an associate with 3-5 years of experience to join its Energy & Project Finance practice. This position is open to candidates in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, or Miami. The role involves project finance transactions with sponsors, investors, developers, and/or lenders, with a focus on renewable power and energy transition. The associate will take on significant responsibility for drafting primary deal documents, including purchase and sale agreements, investment agreements (including tax equity), financing agreements, and joint venture agreements.

The ideal candidate is team-oriented with strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and experience working effectively within a deadline-driven environment. Strong academic credentials are required, and candidates must be admitted to practice in the jurisdiction where they sit.

• 3-5 years of project finance experience involving sponsors, investors, developers, and/or lenders, with a focus on renewable power and energy transition
