Patent Litigation Associate — Intellectual Property, Jacksonville

Excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level associate to join a busy patent litigation team in Jacksonville. The team handles complex patent disputes on behalf of both defendants and plaintiffs, including matters against non-practicing entities and competitor v. competitor litigation.

Work will include drafting and arguing motions, managing discovery and technical fact development, coordinating with expert witnesses, and collaborating with colleagues who have technical and scientific backgrounds. The practice represents clients across technology, telecommunications, software/hardware, manufacturing and financial services sectors.

• Prior experience in patent litigation at a law firm or relevant federal courts exposure; strong briefing and advocacy skills.
• Comfort with technical subject matter; advanced degree in engineering or science is a plus but not required.
• Experience managing discovery, claim construction, and coordinating with experts.
• Strong academic credentials, excellent writing and research abilities, and ability to work collaboratively on team matters.
