A leading energy and infrastructure practice is seeking a mid-level Associate (ideally 3rd–5th year) to join its US project finance team. The role is open to candidates for placement in New York, with consideration for Washington, DC or Houston.

Ideal candidates will have experience in project finance and development transactions, limited-recourse and structured financings; candidates with leveraged-finance or other finance experience will also be considered. Work will involve representation of corporates, financial institutions, sponsors and institutional investors on complex financings and development matters.

Applicants must have excellent academic credentials and prior law firm experience, and be admitted and in good standing to practice in the hiring jurisdiction. Spanish or Portuguese language skills are a plus.

3–5 years post-qualification experience in project finance, structured or leveraged finance
Experience with limited-recourse and project/development financings preferred
Excellent academic record and prior law firm experience
