Mid-to-senior level associate role in a busy Real Estate Capital Markets group based in New York. The team advises on commercial real estate financing and related investment matters for a range of lender and borrower clients.

Typical matters include origination of mortgage loans and structured debt, workouts and restructuring of distressed commercial real estate loans, and transactional work such as purchases and sales of commercial property. The role offers hands-on borrower- and lender-side financing experience in a collaborative practice.

The position is team-oriented and involves drafting, negotiating financing documentation, and managing deal execution across complex transactions.

Mid- to senior-associate level candidate with substantial experience in commercial real estate finance and capital markets transactions.
Proven experience representing lenders and/or borrowers on mortgage loan originations, structured debt and workouts; transactional experience with commercial property purchases and sales.
Strong drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills; ability to work effectively on multi-disciplinary deal teams.
J.D. from an accredited law school and active admission or eligibility to be admitted in New York (or jurisdiction of work).
