Senior Associate, Corporate / Leveraged Finance — Birmingham

We are recruiting multiple Senior Associate–level lawyers to join a national Banking & Finance team based in Birmingham. The role offers substantive exposure to corporate and leveraged finance matters, advising private equity sponsors, corporates, banks and alternative capital providers on domestic and cross-border transactions.

The team handles a wide range of work across leveraged and corporate finance, real estate finance and related debt work, and operates in a collaborative, non-hierarchical environment. Successful candidates will get varied transactional experience and opportunities to contribute to knowledge sharing, training and cross-practice projects.

Team members are expected to participate in business development activities and support junior lawyers’ development. Flexible working arrangements will be considered where appropriate.

• Qualified solicitor with 4+ years PQE in corporate/leveraged finance.
• Strong transactional experience in leveraged finance, corporate debt and related documentation.
• Ability to work independently on matters and collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proven client and stakeholder management skills and commercial awareness.
• Comfortable contributing to business development, marketing and knowledge management activities.
• Experience mentoring or supervising more junior lawyers.
