This role offers a diverse workload covering both contentious and non-contentious employment matters for a range of high-profile, multinational clients.
You will advise on the full spectrum of employment law, including Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation, day-to-day people-related issues, TUPE and large-scale restructuring, and the employment aspects of corporate transactions. You will also support cross-border work, coordinating international advice and working across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities
- Advise on complex and high-value employment matters, both contentious and non-contentious, for clients across sectors such as insurance, financial services, energy, transportation, and retail.
- Manage Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation from inception through to conclusion, including complex multi-day hearings.
- Support corporate transactions, leading on employment aspects of M&A, TUPE transfers, outsourcing, and restructures.
- Act as a trusted advisor on strategic employment issues, including senior exits and workforce change.
- Draft and negotiate employment documentation, including contracts, policies, and settlement agreements.
- Supervise and develop junior team members, reviewing their work for quality and accuracy.
- Contribute to the growth of the practice through business development activities.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience advising on the full spectrum of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious.
- Strong track record managing Employment Tribunal litigation, including complex multi-day hearings.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver pragmatic, business-focused advice across sectors, often under tight deadlines.
- Experience supporting corporate teams on M&A, TUPE, outsourcing, and restructuring.
- Confident in managing client relationships and acting as a strategic adviser on senior exits and workforce change.
- Skilled in drafting and negotiating employment documentation.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance issues relevant to regulated sectors (e.g., insurance, healthcare, energy).
- Comfortable supervising and developing junior team members.
- Commercial mindset with an interest in business development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
