Senior Associate or Special Counsel opportunity within a national insurance practice in Perth. The role focuses on leading complex workers' compensation and related personal injury matters for employers and insurers, acting as lead counsel on high-value files and providing strategic, commercially focused advice.

You will mentor junior lawyers, manage matter workflows, and work closely with senior leaders across a high-performing team. This role suits an experienced litigator who wants ownership of files and a visible leadership role within a supportive practice.

Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in insurance, personal injury or workers' compensation work.
Proven experience advising and running complex workers' compensation and related defendant-side matters; plaintiff experience considered where transferable.
Strong drafting, advocacy and analytical skills with attention to commercial outcomes.
Ability to supervise and mentor junior lawyers and manage large or high-value files.
