Senior/Director Tax Associate — London

An international law firm is hiring a Senior Associate/Director to join its London tax team. The role sits within an integrated tax group that delivers cross‑border transactional, advisory and contentious tax advice, working closely with corporate, finance, restructuring and disputes teams.

Work covers international and domestic tax matters across M&A, funds, finance, real estate and tax controversy, with frequent multi‑jurisdictional briefings and exposure to high‑value, complex transactions. The team advises a broad client base including private capital sponsors, asset managers, financial institutions and multinational corporates.

The firm offers structured development, formal and on‑the‑job training, and a hybrid working approach with an expectation of being office‑based part of the week.

• Established UK tax law experience gained in a City or international law firm, with work across international and domestic tax issues.
• Experience on matters such as M&A, funds (including carried interest/co‑investment), finance and real estate, or tax contentious work.
• Proven technical legal skills, strong commercial awareness and excellent communication and analytical abilities.
• Track record of working with multi‑jurisdictional, multi‑disciplinary teams and appetite for client development, business development and thought leadership.
