Senior Knowledge Counsel — Maritime (London)

Practice-group role within a global assets & structured finance team, focused on maritime work. The post sits on the ASF knowledge team in London and will support English-law needs across the group’s international network.

The role’s purpose is to make first-class know‑how readily available to fee earners: maintaining and drafting precedents and guidance, responding to technical queries, delivering and coordinating training, and championing knowledge systems and legal‑tech rollouts.

The post also contributes to practice development by horizon‑scanning, producing client briefings and thought pieces, supporting sector initiatives and participating in global knowledge projects. Flexible working is supported and a competitive benefits package is offered.

• Qualified solicitor or barrister in England & Wales.
• Senior experience in asset finance or demonstrable familiarity with maritime regulatory and commercial issues.
• Strong interest in knowledge management and in developing precedents, practice guidance and training materials.
• Ability to analyse developing areas of law, provide clear technical support to fee earners, and work collaboratively across an international team.
• Comfort with legal technology and a willingness to champion new knowledge systems.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
