Senior Solicitor – Regulatory Healthcare (Inquests)

We are a leading national law firm seeking a Senior Solicitor to join our expanding Regulatory Healthcare Advisory team. This team provides broad, expert advice to organisations and individuals on health-based regulatory matters and proceedings, including inquests, Court of Protection applications, Mental Health Tribunals, and other regulatory challenges. Our client base spans NHS Trusts to private healthcare providers, and we also advise on CQC prosecutions and a wide range of health and care issues such as consent and confidentiality, capacity, best interests, and discharge processes.

This role will focus primarily on managing a caseload of inquest files for NHS clients, care homes, and other organisations, with potential involvement in broader healthcare advisory work. The role is mainly based in the North West, though some national travel may be required.

Essential:

• Qualified solicitor with 4–10 years' PQE
• Advocacy experience
• Willingness to develop advocacy skills

• Regulatory defence experience
• Inquest advocacy experience
• Healthcare experience
