Senior Solicitor — Regulatory Healthcare

Experienced regulatory healthcare solicitor wanted to join an expanding Regulatory Healthcare Advisory team. The role will focus on managing a caseload of inquest files for NHS, care homes and other healthcare organisations, with some broader regulatory advisory work as required.

The post is based in the North of England with offices across the region and will involve attending inquest hearings and pre-inquest reviews, meeting clients and witnesses and preparing files for advocacy. Occasional national travel may be required.

• Qualified solicitor with 4–10 years PQE
• Advocacy experience and a willingness to develop advocacy skills
• Experience of inquests, regulatory defence or healthcare law desirable
• Excellent organisational, time-management, communication and IT skills
• Ability to manage a caseload, work to deadlines and travel to hearings
• Strong teamworking skills and ability to work on own initiative
