Role summary: Join a market-leading health, care and public law practice advising a wide range of organisations across the health and social care sector, including providers, commissioners, charities and investors.

The role: You will handle a varied mix of regulatory, advisory and investigatory work, including inquests, compliance advice, and mental health and capacity matters. You will be a key client contact, managing cases with appropriate supervision and supporting business development activity.

Key responsibilities:

  • Advise on a broad range of health regulatory and advisory matters, including court advocacy.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, demonstrating sound judgement and knowledge.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, courts, regulators, and healthcare professionals.
  • Support marketing and business development, including client training and events.
  • Build networks internally and externally to grow your practice.
  • Handle confidential information in line with data security protocols.
  • Comply with billing and credit control procedures and manage own files financially.

About you:

  • Qualified solicitor or barrister with experience in healthcare regulatory law or a related field.
  • Experience of advising health and social care clients is advantageous, particularly in inquests, regulatory investigations, compliance, mental health, or Court of Protection matters.
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
  • Commercially minded, motivated, and a team player committed to high-quality service.
