Senior in-house compliance counsel role supporting the regional Deputy General Counsel for Europe, Middle East & Africa. The post-holder will help lead regional risk and compliance activities, advise regional leadership on regulatory and legal matters, and coordinate local risk teams across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities include advising on EU regulatory issues, AML, anti-bribery/anti-corruption matters, local regulation of legal services, employment and HR issues, policy drafting and implementation, and delivering regional risk and compliance training. The role requires regular travel across the EMEA region.

Minimum 7 years' PQE in private practice or in-house legal department
Admitted to practice in an EU Member State with experience in corporate, commercial or transactional work across multiple jurisdictions
Experience in-house or dedicated risk/compliance role preferred; strong knowledge of AML and anti-bribery frameworks
Excellent written and spoken English, strong drafting, analytical, project-management and cross-cultural communication skills
Ability to work independently, handle confidential matters, and engage senior stakeholders across a dispersed organisation
