Join a busy corporate team in China handling cross-border and domestic transactional work. The role sits across multiple offices (examples include Beijing and Chongqing) and will involve working with multilingual, cross-jurisdictional teams on M&A, joint ventures, foreign investment and other commercial transactions.

Typical responsibilities include advising on PRC regulatory matters, drafting and negotiating commercial and corporate agreements, preparing due diligence reports, advising on corporate governance and shareholding structures, and liaising with local and international counsel. PRC-qualified candidates will also gain exposure to insurance regulatory work.

Minimum 2 years PQE in corporate and commercial matters
PRC law qualification required
Experience on cross-border M&A, joint ventures and FDI
Exposure to PRC insurance regulatory work is a strong plus
Excellent drafting, negotiation and due-diligence skills
Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese
