Join a national contentious construction team recognised for acting across a broad range of UK construction disputes. The role sits in a busy London disputes group advising private and public‑sector developers, contractors, consultants and public bodies on domestic (with some international) matters.

The role focuses on adjudication, mediation, litigation and other dispute-resolution forums; contractual interpretation across standard forms (JCT, NEC, FIDIC, ICE, PPC and GC Works); professional negligence and dispute avoidance. You will work closely with colleagues in other UK offices and practice areas, take an active role in business development, and manage files in line with firm procedures.

  • Qualified solicitor with 2–5 years' UK contentious construction experience
  • Experience of adjudication and other UK construction dispute procedures, or international arbitration experience in construction
  • Familiarity with standard construction contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC, ICE etc.)
  • Strong file management, time management and commercial drafting skills
  • Proven interest in business development and excellent communication and collaborative skills
