Senior Associate – Corporate M&A / Venture Capital (TMC & Gambling)

We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our London Corporate practice, working within our Technology, Media & Communications (TMC) and Gambling team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a broad range of domestic and cross-border M&A, venture capital, growth capital and strategic corporate transactions.

You will advise founders, growth companies, institutional investors, venture capital funds, private equity houses and corporates operating in some of the most dynamic sectors of the economy. Working alongside leading corporate partners and sector specialists, you will play a key role on high-profile and complex transactions while developing deep TMC sector expertise and building long-term client relationships.

The Role

• Take the lead on a diverse range of corporate transactions, managing teams of associates and trainees locally and internationally.
• Develop existing and new client relationships, with the freedom to source and develop contacts and prospects.
• Support the firm in raising its profile in the TMC and Gambling sectors, including opportunities to speak at industry events and publish content.
• Supervise and train mid-level and junior associates and trainees.
• Adopt and encourage a sophisticated approach to AI usage across the deal lifecycle.

About You

• Excellent drafting skills, with the ability to create bespoke documents and mechanisms without relying on precedents.
• Sound judgement, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to translate complex legal analysis into practical, easy-to-digest advice.
• A genuine interest in using AI tools to enhance work and efficiency.
• A minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience.
• Ideally, experience transacting in the TMC and/or Gambling sectors, or in-house/secondment experience with a business operating in one of these sectors.

We are looking for a Senior Associate with a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience. You will have excellent drafting skills, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly with clients. A willingness to become a genuine expert in the TMC and Gambling sectors is essential, as is an interest in using AI tools to enhance your work. Existing experience transacting in the TMC and/or Gambling sectors is desirable.
