Apply in confidence →A leading international law firm is seeking an AI-focused lawyer to join its AI Lawyer team, embedded within the M&A and Private Capital practice in London. The role centres on transforming the firm's M&A and Private Capital due diligence strategy and delivery, embedding consistent, measurable and effective use of artificial intelligence across the practice.
You will act as an entrepreneurial ambassador for due diligence and AI, identifying and developing new workstreams, client propositions and engagements at the intersection of corporate law, due diligence and technology. Working as a bridge between M&A and Private Capital lawyers, clients and technology providers, you will translate due diligence requirements into practical solutions and review proposed tools.
Key priorities include leading the London due diligence workstream, developing end-to-end frameworks, process maps and user-friendly collateral across varying levels of seniority, supporting training on best-practice due diligence and AI-supported solutions, and advising on the commercial impact of AI on due diligence pricing. The role reports to M&A and Private Capital partners and a Director of AI Delivery.
- At least four years' post-qualification experience in M&A and Private Capital, ideally at a leading international firm, with substantial high-quality private M&A and private equity due diligence experience
- Admitted as a lawyer with an active practising certificate
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of taking ideas from concept to delivery and building commercial business cases
- Proven programme or project leadership across parallel workstreams, dependencies, risks and priorities
- Confident, credible client-facing presence, including pitching, presenting, running workshops and building client relationships
- Lateral thinker able to identify improvement opportunities through technology or process interventions
- Strong consulting, negotiating and influencing skills, highly organised with sound legal judgement and attention to detail
