Typical matters include discrimination, leave, wage-and-hour, non-compete and breach-of-contract matters; drafting employment policies, handbooks, agreements and separation documents is a core responsibility.
The team emphasizes collaboration; this role will require regular in-office presence in line with firm hybrid-work guidelines.
- JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admission or eligibility for admission to the California bar
- At least 3 years of employment/labor law experience
- Experience with employment litigation before state and federal courts and administrative agencies
- Experience advising employers on compliance, drafting employment policies and agreements, conducting investigations, and delivering training
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to prioritize, stay organized and work collaboratively
