Top-tier national law firm is seeking a 2nd–5th year Employment & Labor attorney to join its Labor & Employment practice. The role is open in multiple California offices (San Diego, Los Angeles, Santa Monica) and combines litigation support and employment counseling work.

Day-to-day responsibilities include case development, legal research and writing, all aspects of discovery, witness interviews/investigations, and brief drafting, alongside counseling clients on employment policies, statutory and regulatory compliance, and employment or separation agreements.

The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay; the posted annual range for this role is $235,000–$365,000, with final offers dependent on location and experience.

2–5 years of employment/labor experience; candidates coming off a clerkship or with less than one full year of experience are asked to apply directly
Admission to the California bar required
Demonstrated litigation skills: discovery, witness interviews, investigations, and brief writing
Employment counseling experience advising on policies, compliance, and separation agreements
Strong academic credentials, exceptional legal writing and communication skills, high motivation, and willingness to mentor junior associates
