Our client, a global Am Law 50 firm, seeks a mid-level Business Trial Associate to join its nationally recognized healthcare litigation practice in Los Angeles. The firm's multidisciplinary Healthcare Industry Team serves all sectors of the healthcare industry, from hospitals and large provider systems to health plans, digital health and AI solutions providers, and the institutional and private equity investors who support them.

The healthcare litigation team represents healthcare and life sciences clients in complex commercial litigation and government investigations nationwide, handling high-stakes regulatory disputes between health care service plans, insurers and regulators, constitutional challenges, reimbursement disputes, privacy issues and more.

The associate will take on substantial case responsibilities, including taking and defending depositions, arguing motions and participating in trials. The role offers extensive client interaction, significant responsibility and career growth for the right candidate.

3–6 years of litigation experience
Comparable law firm experience
Experience running cases and managing more junior attorneys
Strong academic background from a top-tier law school
Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
Active membership in the California State Bar
Trial experience and prior federal clerkship are a plus
