An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate to join a leading global legal business, specialising in fraud and motor claims within its Litigation practice. This role is suitable for a Scottish qualified lawyer with 2-5 years’ PQE, ideally with experience in insurance fraud and motor claims.

You will manage a varied caseload from inception to resolution, conducting thorough investigations, gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and liaising with experts. You will draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements, while providing strategic advice to clients and representing them in court proceedings, mediation, and negotiations.

The role is offered on a hybrid basis, with attendance required two days per week at either the Glasgow or Edinburgh office.

Essential:

Scottish qualified solicitor or advocate
2-5 years’ PQE in fraud and motor claims
Strong knowledge of insurance fraud and motor insurance law, including civil procedure and litigation processes
Proven ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service

Desirable:

Experience in handling high-value or complex claims
