Join a growing professional indemnity team with a strong construction focus. The team acts for UK and international insurers on complex construction-related PI claims and coverage issues, offering exposure to technically challenging work across Scotland and the wider national practice.

This role involves managing a varied caseload of construction professional indemnity matters, supporting insurers and insured professionals, and working with colleagues nationally and, where required, internationally. There are clear opportunities to contribute to business development, build client relationships and take ownership of files as part of an ambitious team.

Experience in professional indemnity and/or construction disputes
Strong client-handling and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage a caseload with appropriate supervision and to deal confidently with day-to-day client issues
Experience handling coverage issues under PI policies and supporting litigated and pre-action stages
Comfortable instructing and working with experts and counsel, and using ADR to resolve disputes
Team-oriented, adaptable and willing to contribute to business development
