Associate — Global Funds (Secondaries), New York

Highly regarded international law firm in New York is hiring a mid‑level associate to join its Global Funds, Secondaries practice. The role focuses on secondary transactions, with exposure to GP‑led secondaries and continuation vehicle work, and counsel to fund sponsors and investors on fund structuring and transactions.

This is a hands‑on role within a sophisticated funds team, offering frequent responsibility for negotiating fund organizational documents and for documentation supporting purchases and sales of portfolio assets or limited partnership interests.

• 3–5 years of private‑practice experience in secondaries or fund formation
• Admission to the New York bar
• Experience on GP‑led secondaries and continuation vehicle transactions preferred
• Strong track record negotiating fund organizational documents and handling asset/interest purchase and sale transactions
• Excellent academic credentials and strong transactional drafting and client‑service skills
