Associate, Global Loans (Finance) — New York

Seeking an associate to join a global loans / banking team in New York. The role involves working on a high-volume, cross-border transactional desk covering leveraged loans, acquisition finance, secured lending, private credit and restructuring/special situations.

The team advises on market-facing debt structures and handles drafting, negotiation and closing of primary loan documentation and ancillary agreements. Candidates will work collaboratively with international offices and should be comfortable managing matters across time zones.

• J.D. or LL.M. and admission to the New York State Bar (or eligibility to waive in)
• Proven leveraged finance experience at a large global firm or recognized boutique finance practice
• Familiarity with acquisition financing, secured lending and private credit transactions
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills for loan documentation and experience managing closings
• Commercial, pragmatic approach and ability to work across borders and time zones
