Midlevel associate role in a national practice focused on international trade, investment controls and national security matters. The team advises on export/import controls, sanctions, foreign ownership/control mitigation, and related regulatory compliance issues for clients across industries.

The position offers active mentoring, increasing client responsibility, and opportunities to manage projects and client workstreams. Successful candidates will be detail-oriented self-starters who can work independently and collaboratively and who produce high-quality written work under deadline.

3–5 years of experience advising on export/import controls, sanctions, investment controls or related regulatory matters
Strong legal research, drafting and project-management skills
Experience with foreign ownership, control, or influence (FOCI) issues preferred
Juris Doctor and active bar admission (or eligibility); excellent communication and teamwork skills
