Our firm, a leading international law firm, seeks an experienced Business Litigation Counsel to join our Houston office. This is a non-partnership-track counsel position with a reduced billable-hour requirement and no expectation of business development or firm management responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a practicing litigator in complex business disputes
• Strong understanding of civil procedure
• Experience in taking and defending depositions
• Experience managing and/or supervising litigation cases
• Significant courtroom experience
• Admission to the Texas bar or eligibility for immediate admission
• Excellent academic credentials
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills, including experience with complex motion practice and client interaction
