Apply in confidence →Top-tier global law firm is seeking a capital markets associate to join its growing securities team in the United States. The role supports public company clients on capital markets transactions, public company reporting and compliance, corporate governance, and periodic SEC filings.
The position is open to candidates for either the New York or New Jersey office and will sit within a national capital markets and public company advisory practice that serves technology, life sciences, and digital asset issuers and underwriters. The role offers exposure to large- and mid-cap public-company work and collaboration across transactional and compliance matters.
This is a hybrid role with regular in-office presence and some remote flexibility. Candidates should be prepared to manage multiple matters, deliver high-quality written work, and interact directly with internal and external clients.
- JD from an accredited law school and active admission to practice in the relevant U.S. state.
- Approximately 5 years of capital markets experience; prior large-firm securities experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with public company reporting, proxy statements, Section 13/16 filings, and periodic SEC disclosures.
- Strong knowledge of the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and NYSE/Nasdaq listing and governance requirements.
- Excellent legal research, drafting, communication, and organizational skills; ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
