Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking stellar mid-level associates with retail or registered funds experience to join its Global Funds practice. Candidates may be based in New York, Washington, D.C., or San Francisco. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience with the formation and ongoing operation of “permanent capital” retail investment vehicles, including business development companies (BDCs), registered closed-end funds, and similar structures, as well as experience supporting fund boards on governance and compliance matters under the Investment Company Act of 1940. Admission to the New York, D.C., or California Bar and excellent credentials are required.

2–5 years of experience in fund formation, with a focus on retail or registered funds
Experience with BDCs, registered closed-end funds, and similar permanent capital vehicles
Experience supporting fund boards on governance and compliance matters under the Investment Company Act of 1940
