Join a specialist healthcare team handling a broad range of clinical negligence and related healthcare law matters, including patient safety, consent, mental health and child law. The team acts principally for defendant-side clients and offers varied litigation and pre‑litigation work.

This role can be based in either of two northern England offices. You will manage a mixed caseload, instruct counsel and experts, undertake investigations, draft pleadings and reports, and contribute to client service, team initiatives and business development in a supportive environment.

Qualified solicitor with around 2+ years' PQE in clinical negligence or related civil litigation.
Experience of managing litigated and pre‑litigated personal injury/clinical negligence files (defence experience advantageous; claimant solicitors seeking to move to defence will be considered).
Sound knowledge of CPR and litigation procedure, with good advocacy and client‑facing skills.
Ability to manage diary/key dates, meet chargeable/financial targets and work independently and as part of a team.
