We are seeking experienced commercial technology, procurement, and data privacy lawyers to join our global legal consulting platform. About the role:

Advise on commercial contracts, including technology/IT agreements (e.g., SaaS, AI, data/software licenses, software development, and cloud computing arrangements)
Support data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity matters
Work on technology transactions, including IT procurement and outsourcing
Engage with M&A transactions, fintech, eCommerce, and payments
Handle intellectual property matters (contentious and non-contentious, including patents)

Successful applicants will have:

Right to work and reside in Australia
Unrestricted qualification to practice in Australia
Minimum of four years' post-qualification experience, ideally within a top-tier law firm and a leading financial institution or corporate (directly or as a secondee)
Strong technical knowledge and experience in a common law jurisdiction
Self-starter with commitment to building a consulting career
Adept at leading or working within complex multi-functional, multi-national project environments
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills
Strong commercial acumen, resilience, adaptability, and autonomy

This role offers flexibility, variety, and the opportunity to work in-house with clients on assignments ranging from two to twelve months (typically four days per week), or on an ad-hoc basis with our practice teams. Consultants receive full support, including access to a dedicated management team, professional support lawyers, knowledge resources, coaching, training, and networking opportunities.
