Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a Contentious Construction Associate to join its Middle East Construction practice in Dubai. This role sits within the firm's Real Estate Division and offers the chance to work on high-value, complex disputes arising from major construction and infrastructure projects across the GCC.

You will work alongside experienced partners, engage directly with clients, and take early responsibility for managing disputes through arbitration, litigation, and ADR.

Manage litigation and arbitration proceedings, including case strategy, pleadings, hearings, and liaison with experts and witnesses.
Draft and review legal documents, conduct legal research, and stay abreast of developments in local and international construction law.
Support clients across sectors including real estate, energy and utilities, healthcare, transport, infrastructure, industrials, retail, and consumer.
Contribute to a market-leading team advising sponsors, funders, developers, employers, contractors, and professional teams on dispute avoidance and resolution.

Newly qualified to 3 years' PQE in construction law, ideally at a leading or mid-tier firm, with a focus on contentious matters.
Strong technical knowledge of construction law and the ability to provide clear, practical advice.

Excellent drafting skills and confidence in preparing effective legal documents.
