Top-tier national corporate group is seeking a transactional associate with private equity and M&A experience to join its New York office. The role focuses on acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures and private equity fund-related transactional work across sponsor and portfolio-company matters.

Successful candidates will work on complex deals both independently and as part of deal teams, providing practical business-oriented legal advice throughout the transaction lifecycle. The group advises a range of investors, sponsors and corporate clients on buyouts, exits and related corporate work.

The team follows a hybrid working model with an expectation of approximately 60% in-office presence. The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package and a bonus-eligible compensation structure.

JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
Admission or eligibility for admission to the New York bar
Minimum 3 years of M&A and private equity transactional experience
Strong academic record, excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and work collaboratively on deal teams
