We are seeking an Associate or Senior Associate with proven post-qualification experience in corporate lending to join our team in London on a six-month initial engagement. This role sits within our dedicated flexible legal resourcing platform, which provides clients with access to high-quality consultant lawyers and paralegals.

You will handle all elements of financing transactions, from term sheet stage through to closing and post-closing. Your responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating facility and intercreditor agreements, supervising team members, negotiating security documents, and liaising with local counsel on multi-jurisdictional matters to ensure smooth transaction closures.

You will be encouraged to build client relationships with relationship banks and key corporate clients, and to develop your own network with support from partners and the wider team. Most associates also have the opportunity to go on client secondments to enhance their commercial skills. You will be encouraged to use AI solutions and to develop your capabilities in this area.

  • Strong general banking experience with a focus on corporate lending in private practice
  • Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents

  • Client-facing experience and the ability to understand and respond to client needs
