Corporate/M&A Attorney — Madison

Leading national transactions practice is hiring a corporate attorney to join its Madison office as an Associate or Senior Counsel depending on experience. The role focuses on U.S. and cross‑border M&A and securities work for middle‑market and upper‑middle‑market companies and private equity clients.

The position is for a deal‑oriented attorney who can run transactions day‑to‑day with limited supervision: coordinating teams, managing diligence and workstreams, drafting and negotiating principal deal documents, and serving as a primary client contact. The team emphasizes a collaborative culture, professional development, and practical client service.

• 4–8 years of relevant corporate/M&A experience, including lead roles on domestic and cross‑border transactions
• Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating purchase agreements and related transaction documents, managing due diligence, and supervising junior attorneys
• Strong project management, written communication, and judgment; attention to detail
• JD from an ABA‑accredited law school and active bar membership; timely admission to the Wisconsin Bar required
