Apply in confidence →Seeking an associate with 1–4 years of experience to join a firm’s Estate Planning practice, with the option to be based in Milwaukee or Madison. The role supports a broad estate planning and administration docket for high-net-worth individuals and business owners.
Responsibilities include drafting estate planning and business succession documents, assisting with income, gift, estate and generation-skipping transfer tax analyses, contributing to charitable and tax-exempt organization matters, and participating in estate and trust administration and probate proceedings.
This position offers hands-on technical work, growing responsibility, and collaboration with experienced practitioners for an associate looking to deepen a long-term trusts & estates practice.
- 1–4 years of relevant trust & estate planning or administration experience.
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school and strong academic credentials; law school transcript requested.
- Active bar membership in permitted jurisdiction(s); timely admission to the Wisconsin Bar will be a condition of employment.
- Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills; attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters.
- Demonstrated interest in trusts & estates, estate administration, and related tax concepts.
