Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a midlevel to senior associate with 4 to 8 years of experience to support its structured finance and securitization practice.

The successful candidate will have solid experience with asset-backed securities transactions and other structured finance matters, such as warehouse financing. The role will involve working on complex, cross-border transactions for banks, funds, and financial institutions, including trade receivables securitization, supply-chain finance, and trade receivables monetization. Experience with off-balance sheet structuring, intercreditor arrangements, and balance-sheet or ABCP funding is preferred.

Qualified candidates will have strong law school academic credentials and relevant, sophisticated law firm and transactional experience. A deal sheet should be submitted with the application; relevant experience is more important than class year.

This position is based in Charlotte, Chicago, or New York, but the team is collaborative and open to candidates working from other U.S. offices. Candidates must be U.S. lawyers practicing from the U.S.

4 to 8 years of structured finance and securitization experience
Experience with asset-backed securities transactions and other structured finance matters, such as warehouse financing
Preference for experience with lender-side private trade receivables securitization, supply-chain finance, trade receivables monetization, or similar trade AR-related matters
Experience with cross-border transactions, off-balance sheet structuring, intercreditor arrangements, and trade credit insurance
Strong law school academic credentials
Sophisticated law firm transaction experience
Must be a U.S. lawyer practicing from the U.S.
