Employment & Labor Associate

Top-tier national firm seeks a 1st 63rd year associate to join a fast-paced employment and labor practice. The role is open to candidates for the Reston, VA or Washington, D.C. offices and involves counseling clients on a broad range of employment matters.

Work will focus on statutory and regulatory compliance, drafting and negotiating executive employment and separation agreements, and advising on employment issues arising in M&A transactions. Some litigation experience is a plus. The team offers a full suite of employee benefits and parental leave support.

• 1 63 years PQE in employment & labor or related practice area
• Experience with employment counseling, statutory and regulatory compliance, and executive employment/separation agreements
• Familiarity with employment aspects of M&A transactions; litigation experience is a plus
• Strong academic record and excellent written and verbal communication skills
