A leading law firm seeks an associate to join its Labor and Employment team in a full-time, partnership-track position. This role may be based in Washington, DC; Richmond; Dallas; Houston; or Atlanta.

The successful candidate will manage employment litigation matters, including taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing motions, communicating with opposing counsel, and independently managing case strategy, deadlines, and dockets. The role also involves advising employers on a broad range of workplace issues and labor matters.

Candidates should be comfortable with federal and state OSHA laws and regulations, and have strong knowledge of the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) processes and proceedings, and labor-related agency investigations.

At least four years of employment and labor experience (class of 2022 or more senior)
Experience managing employment litigation matters, including depositions, motions, and case strategy
Comfort advising employers on a broad range of workplace issues
Familiarity with federal and state OSHA laws and regulations is a plus
Strong knowledge of the NLRA, NLRB processes, and labor-related agency investigations
Excellent analytical, research, writing, and communication skills
Ability to work directly with clients and independently manage matters
Prior large law firm experience preferred
Licensed in the jurisdiction of application preferred, required within one year of joining
