FDA & Health Care Associate

Our client, a top-tier law firm, is seeking a lateral associate with 2+ years of experience to join its FDA & Health Care practice in New York. The role focuses on regulatory and enforcement matters involving drug and vaccine products.

Qualified candidates should have experience in at least some of the following areas:

• Medicare and Medicaid statutes and regulations governing coverage and reimbursement of prescription drugs
• Federal government price reporting laws, including the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program, Medicare Part B Average Sales Price, Section 340B of the Public Health Service Act, and the Veterans Health Care Act
• False Claims Act matters
• Anti-Kickback Statute issues

Strong academic credentials and advanced analytical, research, and writing skills are required. The annual compensation for this position starts at $235,000, with benefits including health care, retirement, paid time off, parental leave, basic life insurance, flexible spending accounts, and discretionary performance-based bonuses.

• 2+ years of experience in health regulatory or government enforcement matters involving drug and vaccine products
• Experience with Medicare/Medicaid drug coverage and reimbursement rules
• Knowledge of federal drug pricing statutes (e.g., Medicaid Drug Rebate Program, Medicare Part B ASP, 340B, Veterans Health Care Act)
• Experience with the False Claims Act and/or Anti-Kickback Statute
• Strong academic credentials
• Advanced analytical, research, and writing skills
• Admission to the New York Bar (or eligibility to obtain promptly)
