Financial Services Associate — Derivatives & Fund Finance, New York

Midlevel associate opportunity in a busy New York finance practice focused on fund-related financings and derivatives. The role supports a market-facing team representing banks and other financial institutions on secured lending and bespoke derivatives transactions for hedge funds, private equity vehicles and registered investment companies.

Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating complex financing and derivatives documentation, managing transaction workflows, and working independently to advance matters and maintain client relationships. This is a hands-on role within a rapidly growing practice group.

J.D. and admission to the New York bar required.

• 8+ years' experience at a law firm or financial institution with exposure to derivatives, secured lending or fund finance
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating financing and derivatives documentation for structured transactions
• Strong project management skills and ability to move transactions forward independently
• J.D. and admission to the New York Bar
